Curating Communication (CUCO) is a consultancy practice dedicated to developing and endorsing the knowledge produced by artists, other arts professionals and their communities.
Engaging with visual and performing arts, CUCO explores innovative approaches to investigate contemporary arts’ aesthetic, philosophical, and social dimensions. This practice fosters a close interplay among artistic, curatorial, caring and communicational processes, employing critical and experimental methods to forge meaningful connections between artists, their audiences, and societies. It researches, pioneers projects, formulates strategies and designs tools for managing and promoting the arts.
Conceived in 2014, CUCO is a continuous research-based practice developed by senior consultant Sílvia Escórcio.
